Threads Engagement Assistant · Last updated: 9 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how the Threads Engagement Assistant (the “App”) handles data. The App is a personal automation tool operated by its owner for a single Threads account (the owner’s own account). It is not offered as a public service and does not onboard other end users.

1. Who we are

The App is operated by an individual developer (“we”, “us”). For any privacy question you can contact us at [email protected].

2. What the App accesses

Using the official Threads API (Meta), and only with the account owner’s authorization, the App accesses:

3. What we store

The App stores the minimum needed to avoid contacting the same post twice and to enforce daily limits:

We do not build profiles of other users, do not retain the full content of other people’s posts, and do not collect names, emails, contact lists, location, or any special-category personal data.

4. How data is used

Accessed data is used solely to surface relevant conversations and to draft on-topic replies for the owner to review. Every reply is sent only after explicit human approval, is capped at 10 replies per day (with at most 3 keyword-sourced candidates per day), and never includes a URL on first contact. The App does not post autonomously without approval.

5. What we do NOT do

6. Data retention and deletion

De-duplication records are kept only as long as needed to prevent duplicate outreach and may be cleared at any time. Draft text is deleted once sent or rejected. To request deletion of any data the App holds, contact [email protected] and it will be removed promptly.

7. Third-party platforms

The App interacts with Meta’s Threads API and with Slack (for the owner’s private approval workflow). Your use of those platforms is governed by their own privacy policies (Meta, Slack).

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest revision.
